Run time: 111 min. | aka: Ra-Deui-O De-I-Jeu | South Korea | Language: Korean, w/ English subtitles | Film Format: 35mm
In 1933, while Korea is under Japan's colonial rule, a carefree and lazy young man by the name of Lloyd is hired as a producer for the country's first radio station, JDOK.

While at work he meets an attractive Jazz singer named Mary, but Mary takes no interest in him at all. Then, with a stroke of luck or divine intervention, Lloyd comes up with a master plan to produce the first radio drama in Chosun that will be titled "The Flame of Love."

Even before the first episode airs, the program seems plagued with a comedy of errors and miscues. The biggest problem seems to be with the (mis)cast of characters. Jazz singer Mary makes mistake after mistake, Gisaeng Mang Wol seems to have no talent for radio, anchor man Chol is woefully inept to handle any type of crisis, writer Bong-al No can't come up with an ending, while errand boy Soon-duk seems to have talent for ad-libbing lines.

With these motley cast of characters can they make the first radio drama in Chosun under Japan's observation?
