An international hit that has thrilled audiences, this mind blowing mystery that spans the decades begins here!!

Great start for a trilogy. You might get lost if you're not a true manga fan But Part 1 was entertaining in itself. However, since this film was just to set up the greater plot of the trilogy- it does fell flat for no fault of the film. The cast is excellent and the climatic end is the fitting way to end the first act.
